The Soul Surfers DR Foundation
is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for children and teenagers from low-income backgrounds to explore the world of surfing. Through our programs, young individuals can develop their skills and knowledge of the sport while gaining valuable life lessons and experiences. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of competitive surfers and empower them to reach their full potential, both in the water and in their future careers.

At Soul Surfers DR, our mission is to empower underserved youth through the transformative power of surfing. We strive to provide these young individuals with opportunities that lead them away from the challenges of low-income environments and toward positive, fulfilling futures.
Our Vision
We aim to be leaders in transforming lives through surfing in the Dominican Republic by promoting competitive surfing, instructor training, and youth leadership in coastal communities.. We envision a future where our participants emerge as confident leaders, equipped with the necessary skills to navigate life’s challenges and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

We promote a mindset of effort and continuous improvement. This includes regular attendance and maintaining appropriate behavior during classes.

We promote respect for the ocean and nature as a way of life. We also encourage mutual respect among peers, instructors, and future generations of surfers.

We promote the care of shared materials (boards, equipment, spaces) and encourage responsibility through active participation, honoring commitments, and teamwork.
